CLAUDINE RANGECROFT HART
Born and raised in London in a bilingual English-German family, Claudine Rangecroft Hart enjoyed many family visits to Germany and travels throughout Europe during her childhood. She studied German and French at the University of Bristol before working in a printing and reprographic company in North London, where her passion for design and the printed image blossomed.
Hart later refined her monochrome darkroom skills under renowned photographer Ron Frampton (FRPS) and completed his Distinctions Course in professional and applied photography. As a trained diving instructor, she has explored various diving sites worldwide, including the Galapagos Islands, Raja Ampat, and the Revillagigedo Islands.
After living in Australia and Singapore, she settled in Basel with her family in 2020. Throughout her travels across Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, Asia, and Australasia, Hart has documented her experiences through photography, primarily shooting digitally while also using 35mm and medium-format film cameras for their unique qualities.
