Magda Bętkowska, a Polish-born artist, now lives and works in Switzerland. Magda studied at the Silesian University in Poland, where she earned a Master’s degree in Artistic Education in Fine Arts, specializing in Graphic Arts. After graduation, she worked with non-governmental organizations in the field of art and international education in Poland and Germany. She then continued her education in Art Therapy in Konstanz, Germany.

Her art is entirely devoted to women. She paints faceless women who dazzle with vibrant colors, designed to encourage women to reveal their hidden femininity. Her paintings showcase the beauty of every woman, embracing all her imperfections. They suggest to the viewer that each woman can be who she wants to be and that everyone has the right to choose their own path in life and follow their dreams. Betkowska emphasizes that striving to be perfect in every role—whether as a woman, wife, mother, sister, friend, or any other expectation—does not necessarily make one feel more worthy. The uniqueness of every woman lies in her state of mind, which consists of self-esteem, authenticity, self-acceptance, a positive attitude towards the world, and self-love.

Her works have been exhibited both nationally and internationally, including in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, England, the USA, Canada, and Dubai. They have also been recognized at international competitions.
