111 SCREWS TO UNSCREW IN SPACE
Luca Harlacher
21.03 - 12.04.2025
A note from a 2009 NASA repair mission becomes a poetic paradox:
111 screws to unscrew in space. Tricky and cosmic, yet human and profane.
In his solo exhibition, Luca Harlacher explores the intersection of complexity and simplicity, chaos and order, distraction and focus.
Using a decade's worth of unfinished sketchbooks as material, Harlacher weaves together paintings, drawings, and objects that refuse linear narratives.
The exhibition unfolds like a fragmented archive-playful, colorful, and full of optimism, yet infused with the ongoing struggle of artistic process and meaning-making.
What happens when we strip objects of function? When an unfinished thought becomes part of a larger whole? When optimism meets contradiction?
