White Sands National Park, New Mexico, USA
White Sands National Park is the largest gypsum dune field in the world, covering over 700 square kilometers. Its sparkling dunes have engulfed the surrounding desert, creating a biologically rich environment with endemic plants and animals. The landscape is exposed, stark, and ever-changing, presenting an endless sea of snow-white sand, quietly undulating with dark shadows formed by intense light. All images were captured using a Nikon FM3a.
