The Polish word "szparka" holds a nuanced and evocative meaning within its concise syllables. It encapsulates the essence of a tiny hole or aperture, often suggesting a minuscule opening that leads to something more substantial, mysterious, or unseen. 
In the context of the triptych "Szparka," where Aleks paints a black, wavy object resembling a hole against a white backdrop, the word takes on metaphorical significance. This visual representation of a "szparka" becomes a symbol for transition, passage, and the unknown. The waviness of the form might suggest the fluidity of change, while the darkness within may symbolize the enigmatic depths one might encounter on a journey through the "szparka."
